What are the responsibilities and job description for the NO FAULT CLAIMS CLERK position at Hereford Insurance Corp?
Seeking No Fault Clerk to schedule Examinations under Oath of No-Fault claimants/ Providers.
The position requires the employee to review transmittal documents and to open a "new file" for referrals, review file materials in imaged files, transmit documents to assigned counsel , coordinate with SIU in the scheduling of the Examinations as well as assigned counsel, understand regulatory parameters in the proper selection of scheduling dates, communicate with counsel via phone and email, enter scheduling data into the system with high levels of data integrity, coordinate the use of and need for court reporters, EUO locations, and translators, documentation of files and communication with assigned adjustors and follow up for the return of signed transcripts. Applicant will keep proactive diaries and follow up as needed and required with stakeholders in the EUO process
Prior legal secretary experience is helpful but not required, Knowledge of No-Fault regulations and terminology is helpful but not required. 2-3 years minimum secretarial office experience required. Training will be provided.
The applicant should have demonstrated organizational written and communication skills, be a team player and work well with others. Further the applicant will be able to prioritize work and show and discuss demonstrable methods of maintaining active and proactive diaries.
The position requires employee to be on site during working hours and will involve learning to back up other clerical duties necessary to the No Fault Department as needed.
The applicant will be proficient in word processing, outlook calendar management and working with imaged documents in a Microsoft windows environment.
