POSITION SUMMARY
The SAP Coordinator ensures all production orders for the food processing plant are generated and closed accurately and on time to capture accurate costs of sales for all finished goods produced at the plant. This role will coordinate with the R D Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Production Supervisors to ensure bill of materials (BOMs) and batching sheets are updated and accurate at all times. As SAP will capture costs through the closing production orders, this role will be responsible for preparing and submitting weekly manufacturing unit cost reports including raw materials, direct labor and factory overhead.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Close production orders daily, on time and with accuracy.
- Control and order front office supply list
- New customer and vendor set up in SAP
- Create and receive purchase orders and Good Receipt PO's
- Periodically review BOMs of all finished goods to ensure accuracy.
- Periodically analyze production costs,
- Perform periodic inventory cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods and make adjustments where necessary.
- Develop, prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly reports of production unit costs utilizing the company's SAP / ERP platform; to include raw materials, direct labor, overhead, yield, and USDA.
- Follow all GMP's, Food safety and PPE guidelines to achieve zero error during USDA inspection and audits.
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual production costs; including product margin reporting and analytics.
- Other duties as assigned.

Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.Quality Control : Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.Quantity : Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.Safety and Security : Ability to maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards, and personal protective equipment and safety devices. Ability to perform safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment and observe security procedures.Transportation : Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Food Science, or similar field required.2-3 years of SAP experience1-2 years of relevant food manufacturing experience.Previous experience with lean manufacturing, USDA, FDA regulations, and SQF preferred.Food engineer, chemical engineer, biochemist, food chemist or related field.Bilingual : Spanish and English preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS
