Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a part-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role requires a dynamic individual who can efficiently manage the recruitment process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying top talent for our portfolio companies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-tier candidates at Heritage Holding portfolio companies.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and hire across a diverse range of roles, from skilled trades (e.g., HVAC technicians) to technical and professional positions (e.g., engineers, controllers).
- Collaborate with management at portfolio companies to understand their hiring needs and create job descriptions that effectively represent each role.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience throughout the process.
- Utilize various recruitment platforms, networking events, and professional networks to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and collaborate with management to negotiate offers and onboard selected candidates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3.5 GPA preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and employees.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
