We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Supervisor to partner with our leadership team and oversee the daily operations of our clinical and front office staff. What You'll Do:
Clinical Leadership & Support
- Be a hands-on clinical resource for nursing and support staff, providing direct assistance with patient care when needed.
- Support triage, procedure room, and routine patient care to ensure seamless patient flow and clinical efficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice practitioners, and staff to resolve clinical challenges, enhance workflows, and drive immediate improvements in patient care.
Team Supervision & Development
- Lead and supervise both clinical and front office teams, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and every team member is set up for success.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and assignments to accommodate daily patient flow, callouts, and provider changes.
- Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and providing performance feedback to nurture a strong, skilled team.
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture where staff are engaged, supported, and motivated to do their best work.
Operations & Patient Flow
- Partner with the Manager to drive workflow improvements and streamline daily operations for greater efficiency.
- Ensure timely room turnover, optimal communication between staff, and a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Support daily huddles, communicate effectively with staff, and escalate concerns to the leadership team as needed.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to infection control, clinical safety, and regulatory compliance standards across the team.
- Assist with training and policy updates, ensuring that all staff are well-versed in clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, required.
- BLS certification required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in an ambulatory clinical setting, with a strong preference for OB/GYN or women’s health.
- At least 1 year of clinical leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse, supervisory role) with proven ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills to ensure quality patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, coach, and mentor others.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced outpatient environment.
- Experience with EHR systems, with Epic experience being a plus.
