What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Staff position at Heritage Pointe Communities?
GENERAL PURPOSE
To find an individual who can maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for our facility and its residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vacuum/Sweep
- Remove Trash/Soiled Linen
- Complete Miscellaneous Cleaning Tasks, As Assigned
- Use Chemicals to Clean/Polish
- Dust Mop/Damp Mop
- Dispose of Trash in a Sanitary Manner
- Tidy Up Residential Rooms
- Sort, Wash, Load, and Unload Laundry
- Iron and Press Clothing/Linens
- Operate Mechanized Cleaning Equipment
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
- Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is desired but not required.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Sensitive Materials
- Ability to Lift, Push, and Pull Required Load (30lbs.)
QUALIFICATIONS
Temperament: Ability to get along with others and be able to function under stressful situations.
Full-time hours: 6:300 am to 2:30 pm, with some weekends and holidays required.
