Heritage Grooming is looking for a talented pet groomer with exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and a love for animals to join our team. Our fast-paced grooming salon operates out of Heritage Veterinary Hospital in Creve Coeur, Missouri. We pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of our work, and our clients have come to appreciate our top-tier service. We are looking for a part-time groomer who is available two days per week and can pick up additional days as they become available. Our ideal candidate has the following attributes:
- 3 years of grooming experience
- Mastery of breed-specific cuts
- Ability to manage a high-volume schedule consisting of an average of 5 dogs per day
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to stand for 7 hours
- Good time management and punctuality
- Self-motivated
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable grooming nervous, fearful, and/or special needs pets in tandem with other groomers and hospital staff to support as needed.
- Ability to work in a loud environment (blow dryers, barking dogs, etc.)
- Certification preferred
- Experience with cat hygiene clips and nail trims preferred
Compensation:
- Base Wage plus commission and tips
- Vacation and Sick PTO, Health/Vision/Dental coverage options, 401k
- Some Equipment provided (lift table, dryers, tub, shampoos/conditioners)
