What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at Hershey Mill Home?
Must be 21 years of age or older.
HS Diploma/GED/current CNA license, CPR certified, or other certification highly desired.
Free from a medical condition, including drug or alcohol addiction, that would limit direct care staff from providing necessary personal care services w/reasonable skill/safety.
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team & with minimal direct supervision.
Consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
Successful required background check.
Complete required employment trainings.
Housekeeping duties (cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, wash/dry/fold/put away laundry, dusting, sweeping, mopping, common spaces, hallways) NOTE: this is not an all-inclusive list;
Meal prep, serve food, meal clean up
Record and report changes in the resident's physical condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor; medication administration.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
