We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with the flexibility to work among four related, but different, Finance teams. The intern will be given the opportunity to work with our Global FP&A team that gathers, analyzes and reports our global results to our senior management. In addition, the intern will work with three North America FP&A teams that focus on supporting the Commercial and Manufacturing teams in servicing our customers, running our manufacturing facilities and driving our business performance.

• Assisting the Global FP&A Finance team:
  • Aggregate and analyze monthly results and latest profit forecasts from all Hexion business units.
  • Communicating global Hexion results to senior management

• Assisting the Adhesives Commercial, Manufacturing and Controllership Finance teams in the following processes:
  • Monthly close and account reconciliation activities
  • Quarterly analysis and reporting activities to support Hexion's public financial statement filings
  • Communicating results to business unit, manufacturing and senior leadership
  • Preparation of monthly reporting deliverables and analysis to the Global FP&A Finance Team
  • Preparation of latest business forecast

• Expectation is the intern will be significantly involved in several special projects and ad hoc assignments during their internship

• Current Junior OR Senior in undergraduate degree program in Finance or Accounting
• Organized creative and self-directed
• Strong attention to detail and design
• Willingness to learn and expand one's abilities
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility of work deliverables
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite - heaviest focus on Excel and Power Point skills
• Current Junior OR Senior in undergraduate degree program in Finance or Accounting
