The Early Off Recovery Lead we are looking for:
The Early-off Recovery Lead is a new role for HFD and will focus on late-stage, pre-chargeoff recovery for our outstanding agreements and loans. This role reports into the Chief Operating Officer and is a great opportunity for a remote employee with ample early-off, delinquent account servicing, or collections experience. You will manage a small team, but have your hand in building out the function for the company. You will collaborate closely with a new analytical hire under the Chief Credit Officer to design and measure strategies. Additionally, you will split your time being an IC as well with your own portfolio to manage. Senior-level support role. Completes assignments with little supervision. May assist less-experienced team members. Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Hire and manage a team of US-based agents with early off / pre-charge off recovery experience or delinquent account servicing
- Collaborate with the analytics team to own the execution on any late-stage /early off recovery strategies and designs.
- Be the main contributor and driver on any technical roadmap items related to late-stage /early off recoveries
- Collaborate with rest of the servicing team
- Drive results – you will have a clear view of short term and long term goals, with the ability to move fast to achieve them
- In addition to leading a team, you will have your own ever-evolving portfolio of 60-120 day past due patient accounts to cure
- Utilize HFD’s multi-channel customer platform to reach out to patients utilizing phone, dialer, email, SMS, and even written mail
- Create reporting, policies, and procedures for your team as needed
- Keep up to date on regulatory changes
- Be dynamic, responsive, and proactive with both customers and peers/leadership
- 5 years experience in loan servicing, collections, or similar in consumer credit
- Persuasive and persistent communicator – must be able to be the subject matter expert on late-stage recoveries and be able to manage up and down and across the organization.
- Strong analytical abilities – to work closely with analytics teams to build reporting, analyze results, and glean insights
- Organized with the ability dive deep into details
- Innovative problem solver with soft skills for collaborating with employees and provider clients
- Collaborative and team player – you will lead a small team with a common goal, but also work among a bigger operations team who does early-stage recoveries and servicing.
- Flexible – this is a new team and we will be figuring everything out from platform to strategies, there will be a lot of changes, so paying close attention and rolling with changes will be crucial

Salary Range* : $55k - $75k Dependant on Experience
* Bonus potential tied to Metrics
