You will report to the Director of Software Engineering, and as a Lead Software Engineer, you will have senior technical and managerial experience. You will lead and empower the technical product teams to document, create, and monitor current and new products. This role encompasses the responsibilities of a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Development Supervisor. You will manage a team by setting clear goals, delegating, providing guidance, and coaching by creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. You also enjoy building great products while empowering and supporting others on your team to do the same.
As a Lead Software Engineer, You Will
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house). Serve as technical expert on development projects. Participate in full development of life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. Recognized as subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional. Requires specialized skill set. Conducts highly complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
