What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at HG External?
The Cook’s primary objective is preparing food items to ensure a high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents. You would be handling food according to sanitary and recognized food preparation standards.
Shift:
Full-time
Sunday: 10:30 AM-6:30 PM
Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
This position requires evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$17.25-$22.25/hr depending on experience
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience (3-5 years)
- Prior Experience working with modified diets for older adults or other health-related reasons
- Food Handler’s certification
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
