SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
HH Global is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer. You will work closely with project managers and directly with the client we’re supporting to own the visual identity of their consumer marketing. You will develop and elevate new and existing collateral across various digital and print media, meeting short turnaround times and managing multiple projects and deadlines. In addition, you have knowledge of physical product and printing techniques.
This will be a hybrid position based in at the client’s location in San Francisco. This role will be required to be on site 1-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days. OR this position can be remote, however remote candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adapt existing artwork for multiple form factors across both print and digital.
- Leverage and expand upon existing brand guidelines to build a variety of form factors across print and digital. Ensure all final graphics and layouts align with brand guidelines.
- Preflight a variety of form factors, producing final print and media-ready files.
- Ensure all final graphics and layouts align with brand guidelines.
- Create engaging vector illustrations in a variety of styles and new and compelling layouts with a strong attention to detail.
- Concept and execute a variety of motion graphics, including email signatures, web ads, social posts and website graphics.
- Create realistic product mockups for creative review.
- Organize and maintain a large library of assets. Some assets will be provided, while others will need to be expanded or net-new design.
- May have the opportunity to conceptualize and develop fresh campaigns and graphics for both print and digital.
- Potential to provide creative feedback and mentoring to more junior designers.
- Work 1:1 with project managers to evolve and develop workflows and creative briefs.
- Actively participate in weekly calls with clients to review and discuss creative direction and feedback, specific design requests, project kickoffs and process improvements.
- Successfully project manage requests and balance workload to meet all deadlines, using strong communication and organizational skills to manage all assets, project deadlines, deliverables, and key messaging as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field (In lieu of degree, 6 years relevant work experience). 4 years of relevant work experience in graphic design.
- Proven experience designing assets for retail, consumer brands or marketing campaigns.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) and Sketch.
- Experience in After Effects and/or motion graphics.
- Experience preparing physical product production files for manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail, keen eye for 'on-brand' implementations, composition and design fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
- Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Self-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and openness to feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships.
- Experience as project manager and/or creative lead a plus.
- Experience using Google Workspace including Google Slides.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing current or future employer sponsorship.
The US base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.
