We're looking for a

Senior Data Engineer II

to help expand our data engineering capabilities. In this hands-on role, you'll contribute to the evolution of our data platformbuilding and improving the systems that power internal analytics and customer-facing intelligence. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure data is structured, secure, and ready to support our growth.

This is an opportunity to join a foundational team and build scalable pipelines, data platform capabilities, and infrastructure that enable trusted insights. Your work will support both operational reporting and product analytics, while contributing to a growing data function.

Teamwork and shared enthusiasm is a core part of our culture, which is why this role involves joining us in the Boston office for two days each week

What

We're

Looking For:

Data Engineering Experience

â?? 5 years of experience building data systems, including hands-on work with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SQL performance tuning.

• Strong AWS Foundation
  
  

â?? Familiarity with AWS services including Aurora, S3, Lambda, and Terraform. You know your way around the ecosystem and can apply these tools pragmatically.

• Modern Data Stack Familiarity
  
  

â?? Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Redshift or Snowflake for transformation and orchestration.

• Code-First Data Engineering
  
  

â?? Comfort writing pipelines and workflows in Python or similar languages. You see data engineering as software engineering.

• Focus on Security and Governance
  
  

â?? Experience working with sensitive data, implementing role-based access control, and ensuring data privacy and auditability.

• Collaborative Approach
  
  

â?? Ability to work closely with cross-functional partners and translate ambiguous problems into clear engineering solutions.

Bonus Experience

• Experience supporting or building analytics platforms for end users or product-facing features.
• Exposure to streaming or real-time data pipelines.
• Familiarity with dbt for transformation logic and data modeling.
