Subcontract Analyst
For Federal Client, must meet certain background requirements
100% Onsite in San Antonio
6-month hourly contract to hire
Pay is $25-29/hr; Must be direct W2
Overview
The Analyst supports operations of the Subcontract Management & Procurement (SM&P) Shared Services is responsible for performing transactional functions supporting third party services. This will involve working in various systems with an emphasize on first time accuracy, meeting deadlines, and completing tasks within established parameters.
Role Responsibilities
- Report directly to a team lead and work in a team environment. This individual will be working with existing processes, procedures, and templates. Use SM&P templates to compile and/or create compliance documentation dictated by federal regulation for the purchase control record (i.e. SAM.gov check, reps and certs, subcontract task orders and modifications, etc.).
- Manage queue of work to meet SLAs.
- Excellent written and verbal communications are important for daily tasks and engagement.
- Responsible for completing tasks within certain time objectives and working with internal teams members and external suppliers for task completion.
- Individual will cultivate solid business relationships to achieve business objectives. Ability to manage relationships effectively at all levels within customer and supplier organization.
- Individual should have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable working within parameters that require compliance in the Federal space.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and escalate concerns if roadblocks are encountered.
Required Skills – Experience in the following required:
- Detailed oriented, organized, flexible
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred Skills
- Interest with learning new systems and managing data
- Internship experiences in a professional business environment
- Ability to set priorities and de-conflict multiple demands
- Ability to apply sound business judgment
- Knowledge of Federal procurement and contracting, including Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) compliance and requirement
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Hours per week: 40 – 45 hours
