Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Client Support Specialist to join our team in a permanent full-time, seasonal role, working approximately 40 hours per week from August to May (off June & July). In this role you will play a key role in providing administrative support for our firm’s day-to-day operations and ensuring client needs are met with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and electronically deliver tax returns, financial statements, and other tax and accounting related documentation
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing both regular and certified mail
- Ensure information received both physically and electronically is properly maintained in document management system
- Prepare and send client invoices and support firm’s billing function
- Provide cross-functional support to administrative team by greeting and assisting clients and third-party vendors as they arrive at the office, as well as answering and directing phone calls
- Assist in maintaining a clean and pleasant work environment in shared spaces, including the kitchen, file room, lobby, and conference rooms
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to tax and accounting teams
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- High level of customer service & confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and multiple projects
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, organization and communication skills
- Well-versed with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks and comfortable working with new technologies
- Available to work overtime
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team
- Able to thrive in a fast paced and changing work environment- Personal characteristics include professionalism in behavior and attire, integrity, and trustworthiness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,500.00 per year
