Reports to: Parts Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Summary:

Provide a great customer experience via the phone and over the counter by assisting them with their application parts needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to our customers, service, and sales team.
• Assist customers with selecting the correct parts for their machine and/or application via phone and over the parts counter.
• Use provided guidelines to accurately prioritize work. Assist with the continual improvement of these guidelines.
• Provide after-hours support for our customers in need of parts. Includes nights and weekends.
• Receive in parts shipments and stocking of shelves.
• Shipment of parts sold to customers both parcel and freight orders.
• Work closely with the service staff in getting them the parts required to complete service work accurately and timely.
• Parts inventory accuracy. Keep all receipts, invoicing, work orders, and transfer’s current.
• Attend to the needs of our customers to ensure customer satisfaction while keeping company interests in mind.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Customer service minded -- you will go the extra mile to help a customer solve a problem
• Computer literate with general Microsoft Office applications and have a willingness and ability to learn the needed functions of a business software package or specific applications related to our work
• Experiencing with CDK (Intellidealer) software is a plus
• Professional experience dealing with upset customers and/or conflict situations, proven to provide a calming effect
• Positive minded
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
• Honest and trustworthy
• Constructively work with fellow employees and customers
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Educational Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree, technical school diploma or certificate is preferred.

Expected Hours of Work:

- Work hours will vary with our busy season and are subject to change. We anticipate Jan – Mar & Aug Dec to be 7am – 4pm. Apr – July is anticipated to be 7am – 5pm.

Travel:

- 1 to 2 weeks per year for training, and/or customer meetings.

Work Environment:

- The work environment will mostly be in our retail store using a computer and phone. Primary location is 5321 35th Street South, Frontier, ND 58104
