We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for efficient data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts through effective conflict management strategies.
- Oversee lease agreements, contracts, and negotiations with tenants and vendors.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote available properties and enhance occupancy rates through upselling techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Collaborate with facilities management teams to coordinate repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants while fostering positive relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is required.
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques related to property leasing.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for tenant interactions.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
