What are the responsibilities and job description for the Defensible Space Worker position at High Sierra Fire Inc.?
At High Sierra Fire Inc, we strive to make our local communities fire safe by removing fuels around utilities, residential homes, and making fuel-breaks in forested areas. Activities including using chainsaws, weed eaters and wood chippers to reduce fuel loads, depending on the specific project. Experience working outside doing landscaping or other manual labor is valued. Employees that are red carded (have wildland fire experience) may participate in prescribed burn operations.
