Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, organized, detail-oriented, and sales-driven Wedding Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with couples, has excellent relationship-building skills, and thrives in a boutique hospitality environment. You'll be the primary point of contact for engaged couples from initial inquiry through booking, helping them envision their dream wedding at our unique farm venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to wedding inquiries via phone, email, and social media
- Conduct venue tours for prospective couples, showcasing Highland Farms' unique features and accommodations
- Build genuine relationships with couples, understanding their vision and translating it into actionable plans
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for wedding packages
- Actively follow up with leads to secure bookings and meet monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system and track all communications
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure smooth handoff after booking
- Coordinate with vendors and preferred partners to support couples' planning needs
- Attend local bridal shows, networking events, and promotional activities
- Maintain expert knowledge of all venue spaces, farm amenities, and accommodation options
- Support social media content creation by capturing testimonials and sharing client stories
- Manage calendar availability and coordinate booking schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service that reflects Highland Farms' brand values
Qualifications
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, hospitality, event planning, or customer service
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings, for tours and events
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passion for weddings, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences
Preferred:
- Experience in wedding planning, venue sales, or event coordination
- Knowledge of the Portland/Mt. Hood wedding market
- Familiarity with wedding industry trends and social media marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field

What We Offer
- Competitive base salary: $42,000 - $50,000 (based on experience)
- Commission: 4% of all confirmed wedding bookings
- Total earning potential: $55,000 - $70,000

Work Environment
This position is based at Highland Farms in Brightwood, OR (approximately 45 minutes east of Portland). The role includes both office work and outdoor venue tours on our scenic 5-acre property.
