Loader Operator

Description
Operates Straight or Articulated Rubber-Tired Tractor-Type Vehicle Equipped with Front-Mounted Hydraulically Powered Bucket or Scoop to Lift and Transport Bulk Materials to and from Storage or Processing Areas, to Feed Conveyors, Hoppers, or Chutes, and to Load Trucks or Railcars: Starts Engine, Shifts Gears, Presses Pedals, and Turns Steering Wheel to Operate Loader.

• Moves Levers to Lower and Tilt Bucket and Drives Front-End Loader Forward to Force Bucket into Bulk Material.
• Moves Levers to Raise and Tilt Bucket When Filled, Drives Vehicle to Work Site, and Moves Levers to Dump Material.
• Performs and Completes All Items Listed on Preventative Maintenance Sheets at the Beginning of Each Shift.
• Ensures the Right Material goes into the Correct Bins and is Topped Off with the Right Blending Rate.
• Keep Area Around Bins Including; Tail Roles, Area Under Belts, and Ramps Free from Debris.
• Keep Radial Pad Clean Including; Chips, Bark, Residuals, and Fines at Appropriate Separate Distances to Limit Contamination.
• Effectively Communicate to All Team Members and Management any Equipment Deficiencies.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail; Able to Follow Instructions Both Written and Verbal.
• Ensure Workers Adhere to Local, State, and Federal Codes and Regulations.
• Perform Other Related Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
• Two Years' Experience in Heavy Equipment Experience.
• One Year of Plant Manufacturing Experience.
• Must Complete Written and Field Training for Loader.
• Ability to Climb Ladders, Stairs, Scaffolding, and Ramps.
• Ability to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Reach, Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Lift, Grasp, Shovel, Rake, and any Necessary Requirements to Keep Clean and Safe.
• Ability to Work Extended Hours to include nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
• Ability to Work Outdoors, Rotating Shifts, and Lift 50 Pounds Required.
