What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate (Full-Time) - Fulfillment (Picking/Packing) position at Highlander Home Inc.?
We are looking for experienced warehouse workers to participate in our fast-paced warehouse operation. The individuals should be organized, detail-orientated and critical thinking. They will assist with shipping, receiving, stocking, storing, picking, packing, and loading orders. Successful candidates will have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and basic math skills. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

This position includes a lot of dispatching orders and attention to detail is a must. We take pride in every product we ship. You will primarily be responsible for packaging orders, keeping warehouse clean and inventory check-list. Other duties will include inspecting, packaging, and shipping/receiving. You must have your own mode of transportation and be local.
Also you must be able to lift 50 lbs, and be on your feet for up to 8 hours.
Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Proactively stay in constant communication with Warehouse Lead in order to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities
- Maintain the overall general upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding areas
- Pull and stage inventory for orders (anywhere from 1lb - 50lbs)
- Assist in the process of unloading and loading inventory from container/trucks
- Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the warehouse as assigned
- Resolves issues quickly using critical thinking
- Proactively makes suggestion to drive continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with a variety of departments
- Works at a quick pace to meet with order demands
Requirements:
- Ability to do basic/quick math (addition/multiplication)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with all levels of staff (coworkers, leads, and management)
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure
- Great attention to details
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
