The Receptionist provides general office support and directs communication .
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receive and route a high volume of calls thro ugh the switchboard and supply i nformation to callers and relay messages .
- Maintain the office supply inventory at an appropriate level and order additional supplies as needed.
- Assist with faxing and copying as needed.
- Sort, distribute, and manage all incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Special projects and overflow work as needed.
- Assist with travel arrangemen ts and hotel accommodations as requested.
- Request postage as needed and maintain the updating of postage machine.
- Meet and address visitors, ascertains nature of business, and direct accordingly.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, care team members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times.
