What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Hiland Child Care Center?
Hiland Child Care Center cares for approximately 45-65 children in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. We have attained the highest ratings through the PA Keystone Stars Program as well as NAEYC. Our philosophy is learning through play. We believe children get the most meaningful education at a young age while they are playing and interacting with other children and adults. We follow a home grown curriculum from infants through our school age program. Our curriculum allows the teachers in each classroom to observe and assess what areas of development the children need to work on and plan accordingly. This also allows flexibility to hone in on the interests of the children at that time. Hiland Child Care Center currently employs 12 staff members and is looking for 2-3 new staff to join our family of educators
We are looking to hire a Full Time Toddler Teacher to work in our Toddler classroom (2 years old) as well as a Part Time or Full Time Infant Room Teacher. Both positions will be co-teaching with another staff member.
Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and 18 years of age, CDA or Associate Degree in Education or related Human Services Field. Bachelor Degree in Education or related Human Services Field. Experience working with children in same or similar setting.
