Position Summary
The Practice Administrator for the Outpatient/Behavioral Health Clinic provides daily direction and supervision of Front Desk Staff (Intake Care Coordinators) regarding quantity and quality of work, manages priorities of clinical scheduling in coordination with various departments in keeping with high standards of customer service. This position works closely with the Sr. Director of Accountability & Operations and Chief Executive Officer to ensure efficient operations relating to enrollment, establishing eligibility, care coordinator, customer service and business practices that lead to the efficiency and probability of Hillcrest.
In addition, the Practice Administrator assists with answering and directing incoming telephone calls, greeting clients, collecting co-pays, scheduling initial and follow-up client appointments, updating the Electronic Medical Record and various systems as required, and maintaining a standard of excellent customer service with both internal and external audiences. The Practice Administrator also ensures the efficient operation of the clinic and waiting areas.
