Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the company's financial records, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Tax returns completed by third party tax firm.
Business attire not required. Casual atmosphere such as jeans and tennis shoes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements
- Utilize or similar accounting software for bookkeeping tasks
- Apply technical accounting principles and adhere to GAAP standards
- Perform 10 key typing for efficient data entry
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for audits
- Handle debits and credits accurately in financial transactions
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping or related roles
- Strong background in public accounting or relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in account analysis and reconciliation
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices
- Familiarity with or similar accounting software
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations with precision
- Understanding of technical accounting principles and GAAP standards
