**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests during the night shift, you will provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk. Your role will include checking in and out guests, managing reservations, handling inquiries, and performing audit functions to maintain accurate financial records for the day.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Guest Services:**
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently during the check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management as necessary.
- **Reservation Management:**
- Accurately process reservations and cancellations, ensuring all information is updated in the system.
- Monitor incoming bookings and prepare for expected arrivals and departures.
- **Night Audit Responsibilities:**
- Perform nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including guest accounts, revenue reports, and other accounting functions.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with hotel policies.
- Generate and review reports for management, summarizing financial performance, occupancy statistics, and other key metrics.
- **Security and Safety:**
- Monitor camera systems to ensure safety and security for all guests. Reporting any activity to the on-site security guard.
- Monitor surveillance systems and address any security concerns immediately.
- **Miscellaneous:**
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or accounting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and basic accounting systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night hours.
