What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst RO Business Operations position at Hilton Grand Vacations?

As a Financial Analyst with the Resort Operations team, you have an opportunity to do both! You are responsible for various planning and reporting processes for Club, Property Management, Rental, Retail, and Resales departments. The planning responsibilities include assisting in the annual Operating Budget, Capital Expenditure Budget, monthly forecast, and flash. The reporting and analysis responsibilities include analyzing the monthly financial results, monthly reporting on club members and club transactions, ad hoc reporting for leadership, & analytical support for Finance and Resort Operations. You also provide the Director and other leadership ongoing / new financial reporting/analysis to support executives and find opportunities for efficiencies and margin improvement.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Monthly Reporting such as Club members, Club transactions, resales volume, room nights, and executive presentations.
- Assist Resort Ops Business Management leaders with Operating Budget preparations; including but not limited to financial review, data entry, ad hoc financial analysis, budget presentation preparation, etc.
- Assist Manager of Resort Ops Business Management with daily responsibilities, monthly close duties and forecasting tasks which include invoicing and ad hoc projects.

- Ability to effectively communicate
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

- Attention to detail and follow-up skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- MS/MA/Master's Degree
- Over 3 years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Access, Oracle, Cognos, Hyperion, Essbase, and Smartview
