What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Marketing Analyst position at Hilton Grand Vacations?
The Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. They will perform analysis of marketing campaigns to evaluate and improve various marketing programs! This is a unique opportunity to run various reports tracking effectiveness, identifying new leads, and pinpoint opportunities to target and increase sales to marketing initiatives requested across the company. You will also be monitoring the database to make sure data is updated in a timely fashion. The role will have access to the most complex functions behind the marketing process for the company!
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for list creation via sophisticated SQL queries/stored procedures and delivering critical campaign data files, in various formats, as requested by internal and external business partners.
- Develop strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and data extraction, and evaluating efficiency of campaigns.
- Pre and post-campaign analysis to assist with key strategic and tactical initiatives. Ability to master data collection and evaluation, campaign creation using campaign management tools.
- Build analysis and high-level summary of findings in clear and concise terms. Areas of focus are campaign management, lead evaluation, campaign logic and customer analysis to lower cost per sale, increase transactions per lead and increase revenue per transaction.
- Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
- Work with internal constituents to collaboratively capture information and gain complete understanding of data, models, processes and other variables required to perform analysis.
- Translate analyses into high-level, executive personations with emphasis on delivery of meaningful information and comparisons providing insight into drivers of decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain Adobe Campaign Classic workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of proven knowledge of SQL Server and/or other relational database technology, specifically writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Strong data mining skills and the ability to apply intuition to results
- Disciplined, analytical but creative thinker and problem solver
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Fully access and understand data sources for use in analysis including but not limited to EDW, Adobe Campaign Classic, Alteryx, SSIS, SSRS, CRM, and COGNOS.
- Ability to connect with and interact with various departments at various levels of management
