Elite Resort Group, Inc. on Hilton Head Island is accepting resumes for an outgoing, energetic and personable Recreation Staff – Full Time Seasonal Summer Position

If you are looking for a FUN summer job, this job is for you! This position is responsible for the day-to-day recreation operations and special programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Facilitates activities and events for all age groups

· Provide outstanding guest experience and promote activities

· Work with the Recreation – Activities Coordinator on all organizing and set-up of events.

· Follow all company policies, uniform policies and safety rules

· Attend all guests’ events and encourages participation through us of PA systems and megaphones

· Communicate with Recreation – Activities Coordinator & follow up any guest’s requests in a timely manner, whether via e-mail, in person or via phone

· Make sure all supplies needed have been requested from the Recreation – Activities Coordinator.

· Other tasks may be assigned by the Recreation – Activities Coordinator.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 17 years old

· Experience working with children preferred.

· Sound physical condition to be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

· Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills

· Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to our various resorts.

· Adaptability: Demonstrate willingness to be flexible, versatile, and/or tolerant in a changing work environment, while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency in all interactions with guests and staff.

· Organizational skills: Set priorities, progress towards goals, remain organize

Working Conditions:

· Must be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to lift and/or carry 25 to 60 pounds.

· Expected to work a fluctuating work week and one evening during the week to accommodate activities or guest requests for the resorts.

· This will be a seasonal full-time position

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Physical setting:

• Resort

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Hilton Head Island, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
