The Capital Hilton, in the heart of the nation’s capital is looking for their next Bar Server to join the Food and Beverage team at the Statler Lounge. Centrally located on the lobby level, The Statler Lounge offers a comfortable setting to enjoy dinner, drinks, and seasonal offerings.
The ideal candidate will possess min 2-3 years of cocktail/food and beverage server experience, ideally in a hotel/lounge setting and will be a team-player with excellent communication skills.
Shift Pattern: PM shifts, between starting as early as 2 PM and ending as late as business requires (sometimes as late as 2 am) - weekend availability required!

What will I be doing?
As a Bar Server, you would be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
