The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking a Seasonal FT Pool Attendant to join the team!

The Seasonal Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment while delivering exceptional guest service. This role supports daily pool operations, monitors pool conditions, and assists guests to ensure an enjoyable and relaxing experience throughout the season.

What will I be doing?

As a Seasonal Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:

• Provide a high level of guest service by engaging with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.

• Monitor pool area conditions, including water cleanliness, temperature, and overall safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

• Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests using the pool facilities.

• Respond calmly and effectively to guest concerns, incidents, or changing operational needs, communicating clearly with both guests and team members.

• Ensure pool furniture, towels, and amenities are clean, organized, and replenished as needed.

• Open and close the pool area according to established procedures, ensuring the space is guest-ready at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, surrounding areas, and storage spaces throughout the shift.

• Assist guests with general pool-related inquiries and provide guidance on pool rules and safety expectations.

• Report any malfunctioning equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance issues promptly and follow through as needed.

• Ensure all job duties are performed using proper safety techniques to maintain a safe environment for both guests and team members.

• Support other departments when appropriate and assist with additional duties as assigned by management.

• Perform other reasonable tasks and special projects as directed by management.
