Job Summary
This position serves as a key personnel and integral member of the interdisciplinary team for the Minority AIDS Initiative: Substance Use Disorder Treatment for Racial/Ethnic Minority Populations at High Risk for HIV/AIDS project. The Program Coordinator will incorporate and monitor evidence-based practices through a syndemic approach to ensure comprehensive treatment services are provided to medically underserved racial and ethnic individuals at risk for or living with HIV. In order to monitor and confirm program deliverables are effectively executed, the program coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day program operations, providing collaborative clinical supervision, assisting with case management, SUD/COD treatments, intake, scheduling, and attending multidisciplinary care meetings. This position will provide whole-person care coordination across medical, behavioral, and social service community systems.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Behavioral Science, or health-related field preferred. Experience providing outpatient therapy, case management; HIV/HVC integrated care, MAT/OUD treatment to the targeted populations. Minimum of six (6) years in Mental Health, Behavioral Science, or other health-related field, with some experience in recognizing consumer’s individual needs and limitations. Must possess a mental health license or certification or be eligible for such. Experience in fiscal management of behavioral health, human or social services agencies, and governmental or nonprofit entities, including grant management. Must possess strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to work harmoniously/ collaborate with staff, community agencies and leaders; commitment to the community mental health center program concept; innovative and flexible approach to developing new programs.

Salary : $42,600 - $54,000
