Project Scheduler / Planner (Primavera)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Travel: Regional plant travel during outages required
Job Summary
Hive Co has a contract opening with our client in Tulsa, Oklahoma for an experienced Project Scheduler to support large, complex projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed schedules. This role partners closely with Project Managers, execution teams, and contractors to ensure accurate planning, risk visibility, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly skilled in Primavera scheduling.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Scheduler
- Develop and maintain complex, integrated project schedules using Primavera (P6)
- Define activities, durations, logic, and milestones to support execution plans
- Collect progress data and produce schedule status and performance reports
- Perform schedule analysis, critical path evaluation, and risk assessments
- Support schedule and cost integration (SPI/CPI)
- Communicate schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Mentor and support junior schedulers as needed
- Ensure schedules meet internal standards and required levels of detail
Required Qualifications of the Project Scheduler
- 5 years of Primavera (P6) scheduling experience (required)
- Experience supporting large or complex projects (utilities, construction, industrial, or similar environments preferred)
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques, critical path methodology, and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Education & Experience (one of the following):
- High School Diploma/GED 7 years relevant experience
- Associate’s Degree 5 years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree 3 years relevant experience
Additional Details
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Overtime, call-out, or shift work may be required
- Ability to work in office, plant, and field environments as needed
