What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time PACU Registered Nurse position at HKB COSMETIC SURGERY?
H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a full-time PACU RN to join our upscale plastic surgery center in Huntersville, NC! We offer competitive pay, health benefits, paid time off, and other wonderful benefits. This position would be Monday - Friday, 4 days a week and 10:00 am - 8:00 pm shift.
A bit about the position:
Providing PACU coverage. From time to time may be asked to assist the team during the case with whatever they need.
What you can expect in this role:
- Monitoring post-operative patients who are in the immediate phases of recovery from a surgical procedure through discharge.
- Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, perform dressing changes, administer necessary medications.
- Assess overall status and educate patients and their families about home care instructions.
- Proper EMR documentation.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid RN license required.
- 2 years of RN experience.
- Equivalent combination of school and work experience.
- Self-driven, able to work as part of a team and motivated for a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
