Position Overview: As a Legal Assistant at Harris Keenan and Goldfarb, you will play a crucial role in supporting firm operations, completing & organizing trial forms, and providing administrative support during all stages of fast-paced personal injury litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of all surrogate filings including: EPTL Orders, Letters of Administration, Death Compromise Orders etc.
• Obtain and negotiate liens.
• Support attorneys and paralegals on document filing and other litigation support tasks.
• Draft and proofread material for spelling & grammatical errors.

Requirements:
• Undergraduate Degree from accredited university.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for the legal field.
• Proactive, able to work independently.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
Compensation: $37,500-$47,500 per year, plus bonus, commensurate with experience. Health insurance, 401(k), Dental insurance, Health savings account, Paid time off, Referral program, Vision insurance.
