We are currently recruiting for a Product Training Specialist . This role is responsible for providing field technical support and training to customers, dealers, distributors, and field technicians/installers.
What you will do in the position:
- Develop expert knowledge of our products to ensure our external service providers and domestic installers have enough technical information to effectively service and represent HME products.
- Diagnoses and resolves technical issues at customer locations, on the telephone, or via email as needed.
- Ensures that we secure HME intellectual property and that it is not disclosed to repair centers that are not authorized.
- Trains customers on the use of HME products.
- Works with Engineering and Sales to resolve problems.
- Create technical training materials to provide and present to internal and external customers.
- Meets with customers to monitor test installations and product approvals.
- Assists Product Marketing and Sales with product approvals by visiting customer test/approval locations.
- Audits domestic installers, international installers and international service centers.
- Completes site surveys to ensure dealers and distributors are compliant with safety, and all other laws and protocols.
- Gathers feedback from end users to ensure continuous improvement.
- Performs all other job responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Expert skill level diagnosing and resolving technical issues for wireless communication equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong root cause analysis skills based on provided data.
- Positive, poised, professional, and helpful presence.
- 2 years related field experience
- Associates Degree or Trade School Certification - Preferred
- Travel 30% to 50%
