What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at HNB National Bank?
Job duties are listed below, other duties may be assigned:
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements.
- Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
- Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
- Order daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Including handling large bags of coins.
- Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift. Compares totaled amounts with data displayed on compute
- Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier’s checks, trust and investment services.
- Open new accounts.
- Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.
- Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Cash handling experience.
Basic computer skills.
