For over 40 years, Hoffmann Brothers has served as the premier HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Appliance Repair service and installation contractor in the St Louis area. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for driving key strategic initiatives delivering value to our team, our customers, and our business overall. You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing scalable solutions to support our current business operations while supporting expansion into new markets and services. The individual will work closely with the warehouse functions of each business to ensure proper service levels are being provided. This involves analyzing the current and future needs of the products and services, identifying the best sources and suppliers, negotiating the prices and terms, and ensuring the quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing Management:
- Develop and implement a quarterly vendor pricing review process informing future purchasing plans and driving vendor accountability
- Assist with vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Lead projects for new material sourcing or savings initiatives
- Maintain accurate pricing of materials within Service Titan
Data Management and Analysis:
- Owner of internal pricing data for all business units
- Lead data automation projects to help drive team efficiencies
- Lead and implement improved data analysis to be used in monthly and quarterly reporting
Best Practices Implementation:
- Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and
- Minimize asset loss, shortages, and damages through robust processes and
Fleet Admin:
- Develop and execute onboarding checklist for new fleet purchases
- Standardize and develop best practices for fleet admin activities across all business units
- Lead fleet dashboard initiative to bring key fleet metrics into an automated dashboard for monthly review
- Assist with data entry/maintenance as needed
- Run data analytics when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related
- Basic understanding of procurement processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Excel
- Experience with data analysis (PowerBI) preferred
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems
