What does a Photoshop Artist do at Hogarth?
The expert photoshop role combines computer generated elements into a final product image and sequences that realize the vision and creative direction of the Art Directors and Compositing Supervisor. The role is ultimately responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 years of digital compositing experience in a commercial production environment
Expert in Photoshop
Ideal candidate has a strong sense of composition, color and design
Nuke and Maya experience a plus strong fine arts foundation skills, such as photography
and photographic lighting
Strong ability to multi-task, organize, and problem-solve while keeping a calm demeanor
under tight deadlines
Ability to thrive as a member of a team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Detail oriented and focused on continual process improvement; must have a strong desire to
learn from other members of the team and to share knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Create in Photoshop product images and sequences
Together with the Compositing Supervisor and Compositing Leads, evaluate the creative
and technical approach for assigned shots
Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process
Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned products to create
uniformity in all finished work
