Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking to hire a Crisis Specialist for our Crisis Intervention Program at our Exton, PA location.
Position Type: Full Time - Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10am-8pm; Week 2: Wednesday thru Saturday 11am-7pm & Sunday 3pm-11pm
Program: Valley Creek Crisis Center
It is the responsibility of the Crisis Specialist to conduct phone and mobile crisis services, including triage assessment and crisis interventions.
Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- conduct effective bio-psychosocial and risk assessments
- assist in the development and review of treatment goals
- provide individual, group, and family treatment team sessions
- consult with outside treatment providers
- provide service referrals and linkages as clinically indicated for aftercare
- maintain quality and timely documentation
Minimum Education: Masters degree in clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, addictions OR BA degree and 5 years of experience.
Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting, including experience with crisis assessment, triage, intervention, and community resources/systems
Minimum Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensure and/or certification preferred.
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34 clearance. Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
Holcomb offers a generous benefit package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1 year salary of life insurance is available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week.
