IT Support Technician

Holiday Healthcare is a family-oriented, privately owned company located on the North Side of Evansville. We are a diverse health services company made up of a nursing home, retirement community, and a professional office. We are actively seeking an entry-level IT support tech to assist with installing/upgrading components, provisioning software, assisting with systems administration duties, end user education, and resolving all IT support issues. Our ideal candidate is personable, has tier 1 experience, and is willing to learn Tier 2 responsibilities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Professional IT certifications are preferred
• Must have advanced knowledge about hardware and software configuration
• Must be able to effectively prioritize time and job responsibilities

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS OF POSITION:

• 3 years in IT Support position or related role
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication ability, both written and verbal
• Personable, professional demeanor

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen, a TB, and an employment physical.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to walk/commute between all buildings located on the Holiday Health Care campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all computer hardware and software, as well as networks and servers, work consistently and correctly.
• Will install programs, new software, and hardware, and will configure networks and servers.
• Manage on going information security, network, and server maintenance.
• Ensure data repositories are safe and secure.
• Educate all end users about network security and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to end users.
• Escalate issues, as needed, in a timely manor.
• Performs other duties deemed necessary by supervisor.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
