Banquet Bartender

Job Summary:

Ensure that any and all clients’ needs are fulfilled for all functions. This encompasses all things we do in banquet operations

Essential Functions:

Have a reasonable knowledge of bar operations.

Knowledge of common liquors, beers, wines as well as typical bar recipes.

Understanding how to read and apply the information given on a BEO.

Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the liquor room, beer/wine cooler, the bar storage area, as well as the bars themselves. Making sure that all breakdown, clean up and reset is completed as asked by supervisors.

Ensure that bars are properly stocked prior to event, with the necessary items to service the event (the correct liquor, beer, wine, mixers, fruit, ice and all the essential tools).

Assisting the rest of the banquet team with any general cleaning of common areas such as the back hallway or restrooms are examples of tasks that you must be able to complete in an efficient and timely manner.

Putting away of product delivered to the conference center in a timely manner, and securing such products. These are items such as liquor, beer, wine, soda, bottled water, tea, linens and anything else that may be delivered.

1.            Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a weight of up to 50lbs

2.            Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours

3.            Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

4.            Associate must be able to clean vomit, urine, and feces when needed

5.            Associate is often required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel

6.            Vision abilities required by this job include close vision

7.            Associate must talk and hear

                Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

1.            High School diploma or equivalent preferred

2.            Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work alone

3.            Ability to follow direction

4.            Communication skills are essential to this position

5.            Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently

6.            Ability to operate POS, count money and make change
