Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeeping Executive to join our team! As the Housekeeping Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests experience impeccable cleanliness and comfort throughout their stay. You will be responsible for managing housekeeping operations, supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met, and supporting the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms and public areas meet Marriott’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
- Assist in creating and implementing housekeeping schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and coverage.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all safety and sanitation standards are followed by housekeeping team members.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and staff training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices within a hotel environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Marriott or similar hotel brand.
- Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping staff.
- Additional certifications in hospitality or housekeeping management are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
