Front of House Staff
Bouquet Bistro brings a love of local farms and their regional-farm-to-table philosophy to the heart of Covington’s Mainstrasse Village. We are currently looking to hire front of house staff members. These team members will be the face of Bouquet Bistro and will interact with our guests from host/hostess taking names, bartenders making drinks, servers delivering meals, and serving assistants helping where needed. We believe in team service and look forward to you joining our team.
Responsibilities
- Host/Hostess
- Take calls/Reservations
- Open Table Management
- Bartenders
- Make all drink orders for guests
- Service patrons seated at the bar
- Clean and ensure cleanliness of glasses and bar equipment
- Inventory management
- Servers
- Be attentive to guests once seated by Host/Hostess
- Inform guests of specials and recommendations
- Communicate with kitchen staff of and special cooking requests
- Deliver meals to guests
- Menu Knowledge with the ability to upsell
- Continuing education of menu and beer/liquor/wine program
- Serving Assistants
- Act as extra hands for servers by taking care of minor details
- Help carry trays to tables
- Be attentive to guests once seated by Host/Hostess
- Inform guests of specials and recommendations
- Communicate with kitchen staff of and special cooking requests
- Deliver meals to guests
- Menu Knowledge with the ability to upsell
- Continuing education of menu and beer/liquor/wine program
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
- Fine dining experience and wine knowledge a plus
- Weekend Availability
