Position Summary:

As an Inventory Assistant, you will be responsible for processing shipment, performing deliveries between our office and two store locations, as well as other inventory tasks. This is an hourly position. Hourly rate is determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

*Processing shipment including unpacking new inventory, hanging, steaming, and accurately tagging all items and entering quantities into the inventory system. *Performing store to store transfers by evaluating missing sizes at each location and pulling or requesting needed sizes from one store or the other to balance the inventory quantities at each location. *Transporting shipments and store transfers and supplies from one location to the other (Franklin/Nashville). Company van provided for deliveries. *Barcode labeling accessories and other small items in the office prior to distribution. *Assist with occasional inventory counts and corrections.

Qualifications

*Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. *Excellent communication skills as well as proficient in basic computer skills and data entry *Experience working in a retail or inventory related field is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

*Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. *Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. *A current driver’s license and ability to drive a small commercial van. *High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
