We are hiring for a Production Supervisor
Support production staff in the daily operation of department. Make sure all employees are GMP trained and working safely. Assure all operations are conducted following the plant HACCP procedures. Assure all products are made according to customer specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience in a food plant.
- Make product usage/production schedules daily using daily inventory reports
- Meet with buyers daily to go over product usage and what is needed for production for the week
- Schedule daily operations according to customer orders and available product to use
- Communicate with sales throughout the day about any issues with orders and any raw material issues
- Check payroll daily for accuracy and to assure everything is correct
- Assure all employees are following proper procedures throughout the day and following the production schedule
- Assure that all departments are properly staffed and employees are properly trained for their position
- Work with Quality Assurance on any quality issues that may arise in production
- Assure all employees are working in a safe manner at all times.
- Assure all scanning and scaling are being done properly to maintain the inventory is correct.
- Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
