ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Oversee the repairs and maintenance on the electronic gaming devices.
Responsible for supervising slot technicians in the casino and workshops.
Promote and lead in our service initiatives to external and internal guests that perpetuate Hollywood Casino’s commitment towards quality guest service..
Follow all safety rules.
Adhere to departmental Quality Standards.
Maintain compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Rules, Standards and the company's System of Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Work within the guidelines established by Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casino Aurora.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Directly Supervises: Slot Technicians
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College degree or equivalent work experience related to supervision or business.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions. Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a cast member to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable cast members with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, sit, walk, reach, handle, feel, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn/twist, bend at waist, and exercise foot-hand-eye coordination.
Must be able to speak and hear. Must have depth perception and peripheral vision. Must be able to see near, far, and in color.
Must be able to lift and push more than 50 lbs. Must be able to carry 30 lbs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Primarily responsible for management of the Slot Repair department and the direct supervision of hourly employees. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training cast members; planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, disciplining, and terminating cast members. Must maintain accurate departmental records. Supervisor will be required to make recommendations for promotions of cast members; recommend methods for improving operational efficiencies; handle employee complaints and grievances; and promptly report and remedy any legal/compliance measures.
Directly Supervises: Slot Technicians
APPEARANCE & GROOMING: All cast members are required to follow the appearance and grooming guidelines.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College degree or equivalent work experience related to supervision or business.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions. Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend company policy and procedures manuals, as well as departmental correspondence. Is able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guest and co-stars. Is able to write correspondence such as memorandums, procedures and departmental incident reports.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Qualified to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board.
