As a Part-Time School Bus Driver, you’ll play a vital role in this mission by safely transporting our students to and from campus while modeling professionalism and care. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to serve our Crusader community with consistency, safety, and respect.
Midland Route:
- Morning: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
- Afternoon: 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Total: 1.0 hour per day
What You'll Do:
- Safely transport students over designated routes in compliance with local, state, and federal traffic regulations.
- Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere with all passengers.
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance inspections of the bus.
- Maintain order on the bus and report any incidents or disciplinary concerns.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators.
- Ensure all students are safely picked up and dropped off at approved locations.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements
- Completion of a certified school bus driver safety training course
- Clean driving record and ability to pass required alcohol/drug tests
- DOT physical exam clearance
- Must be 21 years or older
- Experience managing student behavior is a plus
