What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic supervisor position at Holy Cross Medical Center?
MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications
- Completion of a Nursing, Medical Assistant, CNA program or previous leadership experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years customer service experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and maintained current throughout employment.
- Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with practice leadership, physicians, advanced practitioners, colleagues, and other HCMC and TPS team members.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all members of the care team, and with patients and family members.
- Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to assist in the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Preferred qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an out-patient practice setting utilizing an EHR system.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish languages.
POSITION PURPOSE This position is responsible for providing patient service support, clinical and non-clinical staff coverage within their scope of work for all Taos Professional Services (TPS) Practices.
The TPS Supervisor has supportive leadership responsibilities within a designated clinic.
