What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technician II position at Holy Cross Medical Center?
Responsible for assisting the peri-operative team in many aspects of patient care, including but not limited to, patient care assistance, care of the environment, functioning competently in the C/S Department, and scrubbing minor surgical cases. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of the OR Charge Nurse, O.R. Manager and the Director of Surgical Services. Position requires 8,10, or 12-hour shifts to cover department Monday - Friday 06:30 - 17:00. Position requires individual to assume "on call" duty on a rotating basis. Call required to cover evenings, nights, weekends and Holidays
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- CST Certification Required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills Required
